- The first phase includes building radar infrastructure, such as Air Surveillance Radar (ASR) and Monopulse Secondary Surveillance Radar (MSSR), with an estimated cost of Rs 19 crore (excluding GST).
- Bids for this phase must be submitted by September 24, with technical bids opening on September 30 and financial bids on October 10.
- The completion timeline for this phase is set at six months, which also includes the construction of approach roads and supporting infrastructure.
- Earlier this year, DIACL awarded a work order for a Rs 3,300 crore project to develop an integrated terminal, ATC, and cargo complex, aiming for the airport to be operational by 2025-26.
